Looking for a DOULA in Louisville or Southern Indiana?

Clinical studies have shown that a doula attended birth reduces the length of labor and the amount of medical interventions for labor and delivery.  Parents also report greater satisfaction with the birth experience when a doula attends the birth with them.  Babyology is offering the following list of doulas to help in your search for a doula.  These are NOT endorsements, they have paid to be on this site.  We encourage you to interview two or three doulas before you choose one.  When contacting a doula, first ask if they are available for your due date. Not all doulas are certified through the same organization.  They have varying degrees of training and experience, and their fees vary accordingly. The doulas on this site have agreed to follow the DONA International Standards of Practice.  It is your responsibility to find the doula that is right for you.

SERVICES & EXPERIENCE

I am blessed to serve as a birth doula and offer my services to women in the Louisville, KY and Southern Indiana areas. I completed my DONA Birth Doula training in November 2008 and became a DONA Certified Birth Doula in January 2010. Please see my website for detailed information about the doula services I provide, and my fee.

Because I believe it is important that you feel comfortable with your doula, I am happy to offer a free initial meeting for us to get acquainted, and to answer any questions about my services.
