The History of Babyology

abyology is the new name for the business formerly known as The Nursing Station, Inc. The Nursing Station, Inc. was founded by Cheryl Brown, RN, IBCLC in 1993, and upon Mrs. Brown’s retirement she sold the business to long time colleague Vicki Sanders, RDH, ICCE, LCCE, FACCE, CD(DONA), IBCLC, in March of 2009.
The decision to change the name to Babyology reflects an expansion of our products and services. Babyology will continue to provide the largest selection of maternity/nursing bras, breastpump rental and sales, nursing pillows, and many other products to support the expectant and new parents in the Louisville Area.
Also, our professional staff of Certified Bra Fitters, Certified Lactation Counselors, and International Board Certified Lactation Consultants will continue to provide the lactation support our customers have come to expect.
We are continually expanding our services and products. We look forward to serving our current customers and meeting more expectant and new parents at Babyology.

Babyology Staff
Vicki Sanders, RDH, FACCE, LCCE, CD, IBCLC
My husband and I are blessed with two daughters and a son. I graduated from the University of Louisville as a Dental Hygienist. In 1987, friends asked me to teach them about childbirth, and I found my passion. I became an ICEA Certified Childbirth Educator and began attending births as a labor assistant. Since then, I have also become a DONA Certified Birth Doula, a DONA Approved Birth Doula Trainer, a Lamaze International Certified Childbirth Educator, a Fellow in the American College of Childbirth Educators, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I serve as the owner of Babyology and provide lactation consultations and classes.
Angie Roberts, CLC, IBCLC, RLC
I am a wife, a mother of 4 grown children, and grandmother to 2 granddaughters and 3 grandsons. I am passionate about my faith, my family, and new moms and babies.
I am a trained doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and a Registered Lactation Consultant. I am also the store manager at Babyology. My roles include breastfeeding support, managing inventory, and teaching our Return-to-Work Class and Baby Wearing Class.
